10 things to do when feeling too tired to get out of the chair
1. Pull up a blanket and just sit there
2. Stare vacantly at 2 tvs, one with tennis and the other with random stuff
3. Type a blog post
4. Notice the up and down movement of breathing in and out
5. Assure the dog that everything is okay when she gives off vibes that something is amiss
6. Swig lime soda water that was purchased in the recent trip to the supermarket. Refreshing straight out of the 1.1 L bottle
7. Close your eyes and listen to the variety of sounds that flitter around the neighbourhood
8. Listen to some music on one's "mobile telephone", to quote John from Ludwig
9. Feel the tapping of computer keys and again marvel at the ability of the fingers to seamlessly know which key is where without assistance from the eyes (seeing the benefits of doing a course in travel consultancy for 4 weeks in my mid-twenties, where mainly I learned to type plus a couple of other travel-related skills that I can't now recall)
10. Place one's hands on one's hearts and contemplate the ancient concept of the logos, as expounded by the likes of Heraclitus, Plato, Aristotle, plus more recently, the writer of John's gospel
"In the beginning was the logos" - John's Gospel
